HP Photosmart C5280 is a printer which is better suited for graphic and photo printing than for text printing. This multifunction printer stands 17.8 inches wide, 15.2 inches deep, 8 inches tall, and weighs a mere 15.7 pounds . It’s better suited for graphics and photo printing than for text printing. Additionally, the CD/DVD print feature is easy to use and produces good-quality prints. This multifunctional printer consists of four memory card slots that are mounted on the front of the unit.

The Photosmart C5280 uses a two ink cartridges: one black and one tricolor. The black cartridge can be swapped out for an optional tricolor photo tank for six-color photo printing. Black text costs about 4 cents per page and a full color print costs about 10.7 cents per page–both numbers are low for an inexpensive inkjet printer. The scan and copy features of this multifunctional printer are standard.

Compared to similarly priced inkjet multifunction, the HP Photosmart C5280 is a middle-of-the-pack performer with printing. It produced black text at a rate of 5.53 pages per minute. The color graphics print of this cheap printer is impressive, with smooth gradients, smooth color saturation, and sharp and detailed photo elements. The 4×6 photo print of C5280 is equally good: sharp details and pleasing and believable skin tones. The Photosmart C5280 did its best work with the color scan. Overall, the Photosmart C5280 is better with graphics and photos than at text.

What is claimed is:

1. An ink cartridge comprising: an ink cartridge body having a plurality of ink chambers, said ink chambers being formed by two or more partitioning walls intersecting orthogonally with one another within the ink cartridge body; a nose formed integral with the ink chambers, the nose including a plurality of openings formed in the opposite sides of the nose, respectively, and a plurality of ink feeding channels, wherein each of said plurality of ink feeding channels is individually connected to at least one of said plurality of ink chambers; and sealing members for individually sealing said openings; wherein the nose comprises: a part for mounting a print head; one or more ink passages intersecting with the print head; and a carriage mounting datum; wherein the carriage mounting datum is formed on the surfaces of the sealing members. color cartridges – HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One

The $150 Officejet 5610 printer can scan, copy, print photos and other documents, and send and receive faxes. The HP Officejet 5610 measures 18 inch by 16 inch by 9 inch (WDH). The control panel of the HP Officejet 5610 conveniently divides fax and copy functions into separate areas.

The HP Image Zone utility, a combination photo archiver and photo-album designer, offers tools for editing and applying special effects. Pages can be scanned and converted to text using optical character recognition (OCR) software. HP also provides software for faxing documents from computer, though the 5610 can’t receive digital faxes and park them on the computer.

The Officejet 5610 contain standard-size black-ink cartridge and a tricolor cartridge. The standard-size black cartridge costs $18, and HP says that it will last 220 pages, or a steep 8.2 cents per page. A high-capacity black cartridge, good for an estimated 450 pages, costs $20, or a more palatable 4.4 cents per page.

The cheap HP Officejet 5610 prints text at a poky 4.08ppm pages per minute. The text obtained from the printer is sharp, clean, black, and legible at small point sizes. Color graphics showed good detail, shapes and geometry were free of distortion, and colors looked accurate and saturated. The glossy photo prints of HP Office jet 5610 had fine texture that even the ink dots can’t be identified under the magnification. The 5610 produced sharp details in photos.
